Do you deliver, set up and pack down?

V Party Queens operates on a pick up, DIY and return basis – that is how we keep our pricing so affordable. So delivery, set up and pack down services aren’t usually offered, however if this is a reason that you can’t proceed with your hire, get in touch with us – we will consider such requests on a case-by-case basis and provide a quote if we have capacity to accommodate your request.

Do you supply balloon garlands?

No, we don’t supply balloon garlands or other forms of balloon arrangements.

When and where do I collect my hire?

All hires are to be collected and returned to either our Fletcher or Maryland 2287 Newcastle locations. Once you have made a booking, you will receive a confirmation email with the hire collection address and dates/times.

Are you flexible with pick up/return dates and times?

Yes, if none of the timeslots we propose suit you, we will try to work around alternate times which would.

How do I make a booking?

All bookings can be made via our website. If you have any issues making a booking or would like to discuss a payment plan, get in touch with us either by email (vpartyqueens@gmail.com) or Facebook messenger.

Could I pay my invoice by instalment?

Yes, contact us to discuss a payment plan that suits you.

Would you hold my booking without payment?

No, bookings are accommodated on a first-in basis and cannot be held or confirmed without payment.

Do you accept cash on pick up?

No, full payment is to be made ahead a week before hire collection.

How long is the hire period?

Usually 3 days. However, if we have back-to-back bookings, you may be requested to either collect your booking the evening before your event or return it later in the day of your event. We will let you know if this is the case.

If my hire period is less than the standard 3-day timeframe, will the hire charge be less?

No. We allow a standard 3 day hire period as a bonus, to make your hire process hassle-free. The hire charge applies per event and not per day. Therefore, the hire change for a reduced hire period.

If I live further away, could I extend my hire period?

If you live more than an hour away from Newcastle, we will consider adding an extra day to your hire period.

What type of vehicle will I need to transport my hire?

If your hire is a large one (for example a party bundle combined with a soft play corner or a picnic with a peacock chair), we strongly recommend using either a trailer, ute or two cars. You could also arrange with us to pick up/return your hire in two trips. If your bundle is of an average size (for example a standard party bundle or a soft play corner) a larger vehicle such a 4WD would suffice. Always make sure your vehicle is empty of any bulky items (such as prams etc.) and have your back seat(s) folded down if possible.

How do I transport a circle frame/round backdrop?

The circle frame/round backdrop comes apart for easy transporting and assembling. It will fit into even the smallest vehicle.

Could someone else collect my hire on my behalf?

Yes absolutely. Just let us know if that is the case though.

What happens if I need to reschedule my event date?

Contact us to reschedule as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule your event date however whether we can accommodate it will depend on availability.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Refer our cancellation policy as set out in our terms and conditions. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your event.

What if I damage or lose your hire items?

Refer our terms and conditions relating to damage, loss and bond deduction.

If I just need a few inclusions from a party bundle, would the price be less?

Bundle prices remain the same whether you hire all of the inclusions or a few.

Could I make a booking for an event which is not a kids’ party or baby shower?

Yes, you absolutely can. We hire out to play dates, community and corporate events and so forth.

Could I have a look at your hire range in person prior to hiring?

As our business does not operate from a store, we would not be able to accommodate inspection requests. Our entire hire range is pictured on our website and socials. If you need further information, feel free to contact us.
